The State Attorney's Office submitted a prosecutor's declaration to the District Court in Be'er Sheva ahead of the filing of an indictment against Ibrahim Hilo, the terrorist who held the body of fallen IDF soldier Staff Sgt. Oron Shaul, of blessed memory.
Shaul was killed during Operation Protective Edge in 2014, and his body was held by terrorist organizations in Gaza for over ten years. The prosecutor's declaration was filed as a preliminary step before the formal indictment is submitted.
