President Joseph Aoun said today that “there is no alternative other than negotiations. Strength is not demonstrated by waging war, but by having the courage to end it through negotiations."
Aoun added: “The war caused 3,000 deaths, displaced one million people, and left thousands of homes destroyed. The foundation for preventing internal conflicts and division is the Lebanese Armed Forces and the country’s security forces."
