Officers from the Israel Police Jerusalem District and Border Police officers were dispatched to the Silwan neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem following a violent incident between local residents.
According to police, upon the arrival of the forces, dozens of suspects began throwing stones at officers, who responded with crowd-dispersal measures and warning shots in the air. So far, six suspects have been arrested, and three police officers sustained light injuries.
