Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it targeted a US military base in Kuwait, claiming the move was in retaliation for the American strikes carried out overnight against their forces.
Earlier, a US source stated that the United States military had struck targets in the Strait of Hormuz area, which Washington maintained posed a threat to American forces and maritime traffic in the region.
