National Library of Israel acquires world’s earliest known kosher cookbook

A rare 1846 volume believed to be the first kosher cookbook, widely attributed to Lady Judith Montefiore, has been acquired by the National Library of Israel, offering a glimpse into Victorian Jewish cuisine.
