The Financial Times reports that Saudi Arabia is holding talks with Middle Eastern countries about the possibility of a regional non-aggression pact that would also include Iran, with the aim of reducing post-war tensions.
According to the report, Riyadh is examining a model based on the "Helsinki Process" from the Cold War era, and Western diplomats have noted that European countries and EU bodies support the initiative.
