Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in the area of Neve Yam, an interceptor was launched toward a surface-to-air missile that was launched toward an Israeli Air Force aircraft in the area in which IDF soldiers are operating in southern Lebanon. No damage was caused, and no IDF injuries were reported.
Missile and rocket alerts were activated due to the interception attempt.
