Official Iranian sources told The New York Times that the United States and Iran are advancing a temporary agreement that would include a halt in fighting for an additional 30 days and the removal of the Iranian blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
During that period, the sides will attempt to reach a broader and more permanent agreement.
