The family of Yamano Zalka criticized the prosecution’s intention not to charge the stabber with premeditated murder, saying that “instead of the prosecution understanding that this is an opportunity to create a new reality and deterrence against the epidemic of violence, it chooses to cling to the letter of the law."
The family added, “At this rate, the next murder is just around the corner."
