A vehicle belonging to the Magen Unit, the state unit responsible for securing ministers and senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office, was involved in a fatal accident this morning at the Beit Anun junction near Hebron.
A Palestinian minor who was riding a bicycle was struck and critically injured; he was later pronounced dead. The vehicle was reportedly part of the security detail of a minister residing in the Hebron area. Israel Police has opened an investigation.
