Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav following the death of four in a missile strike on the city and expressed his deep sorrow for the terrible loss of life. According to Netanyahu, "Yahav made a few requests, and I immediately instructed the Director General of my office to do everything possible in order to render assistance to the families as well as to the municipality."
The Prime Minister added, "The most important thing, however, which came up again in this conversation, is one simple rule, an ironclad rule: for those who follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and remain in a protected area, the chances of getting hurt are virtually non-existent."
"I therefore ask you, all citizens of Israel, particularly the residents of the North who are now truly going through this tough experience, and I do know how tough it is for you. I ask you, and we will do what we can to assist, I ask you to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command".
