Major cinema chains in Israel will reopen in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines.
The HOT Cinema and Movieland chains, as well as cinematheques across the country, have already been open for more than two weeks under existing guidelines, limiting audiences to 50 people per hall and requiring a nearby protected space. Now, with the start of Passover, the major chains Cinema City and Yes Planet are joining them.
For the time being, Cinema City’s decision does not apply to its branches in Ashdod, Be’er Sheva, and Jerusalem, which will remain closed.
