Earlier today (Thursday), IDF soldiers of the 162nd Division eliminated a Hezbollah terrorist in a close-quarters encounter during a targeted ground operation in southern Lebanon conducted as part of the the effort to enhance the forward defensive posture.
During the operation, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured and evacuated to receive medical treatment in a hospital, their families have been notified.
Subsequently, the soldiers scanned the area and located numerous weapons, including rifles, vests, grenades, and additional weapons.
