78 years later: Missing fallen soldier, Private Dov Parmat, buried in a mass grave at Maoz Haim

After 78 years it has been discovered that the missing fallen soldier, Private Dov Parmat, of blessed memory, was buried in a mass grave at Maoz Haim together with 16 other IDF fallen soldiers.

Private Dov Parmat fell in battle in the Malkiya area in 1948, and his burial place was unknown. Following a comprehensive investigation by the IDF’s Missing Persons Unit, it was determined that he was buried in a mass grave at Maoz Haim together with 16 additional soldiers who fell in the battles of Israel’s War of Independence.
