During the night, in the course of an operational activity by the Israeli Air Force to assist IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon, a surface-to-air missile was launched at an IDF unmanned aerial vehicle. A hit was identified and the aircraft fell.
There is no concern of an information leak. The incident is under investigation.
