Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, has ordered a broad reinforcement of forces in the Northern Command following a multi-theater situation assessment, as part of preparations for various attack and defense scenarios.
Simultaneously, reserve forces will be mobilized to replace regular units being transferred to the northern sector.
