Police sources in Iraq reported that rockets and drones launched toward a US diplomatic facility near Baghdad International Airport were intercepted by an air defense system before striking their target.
At the same time, security sources said that another drone attack was directed at a US base near the airport in the northern Iraqi city of Erbil.
