Hosseinali Eshkevari, a member of the Iranian regime's Assembly of Experts, the body tasked with choosing Iran’s next supreme leader, said in a video aired by state media that "The name of Khamenei will continue. The vote has been cast, and I hope that it will be announced by the authorities. There is no need to worry."
It is apparent from the remarks that the assembly has chosen Mojtaba Khamenei, the second son of the eliminated Supreme Leaser Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
This being said, no final decision has been officially announced.
