Mia Yaron’s appointment as Israel’s Ambassador to Fiji approved

The government approved Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar’s proposal to appoint Mia Yaron as Israel’s ambassador to Fiji.

For the past two years, Yaron has served as head of the Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan. Prior to that, she headed the Northeast Asia Department in Jerusalem.

Yaron will also serve as non-resident ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Nauru, Marshall Islands, Palau, and Federated States of Micronesia.
