Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has instructed that there will be no budget limit on evacuating residents whose homes have been damaged to hotels across the country.
The minister instructed the ministry's officials and the Tax Authority to properly manage the evacuations to hotels in order to maintain a free inventory of rooms in case of need. Therefore, only those whose homes are not suitable will be evacuated to a hotel at the state's expense.
