Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced that Israel has embarked on an "existential campaign to overthrow the evil Iranian regime, to remove an existential threat to Israel, and to fortify our security and future."
According to him, this is a well-planned move that was built in close coordination with the US, led by President Donald Trump, and is being carried out by IDF soldiers and commanders and other security forces on land, in the air, and at sea.
Smotrich noted that the Ministry of Finance is prepared and ready to financially support the war and provide a safety net for Israeli citizens as needed. He added that this is also a good move for the economy, and called on the public to strictly obey the Home Front Command's instructions, "they save lives." According to him, "We will stand united, and like two thousand five hundred years ago in the days of Mordechai and Esther, we will defeat our enemies who rise up against us - 'whoever the Jews rule over their enemies.' The Jews had light and joy and gladness and wealth - so shall we have it!"
