At Soroka Medical Center, the process of transferring hundreds of hospitalized patients from unprotected wards to protected areas of the hospital has been completed.
In accordance with the guidelines, only limited and necessary elective and ambulatory activity is taking place, and notifications are being sent to the relevant patients. The protected delivery rooms are operating as usual, as is the Emergency Medicine Department, which operates entirely in a protected complex. The public is asked to come to the medical center only in urgent cases and to avoid, as much as possible, patient visits during this period.
