The Jerusalem Municipality opened the municipal emergency response center this morning upon receiving the first alert. Mayor Moshe Leon physically arrived at the scene and held several situation assessments with the participation of the Municipality's Director General, Ariella Rajwan, and representatives of the security, emergency and rescue forces.
The mayor concluded this evening that, in accordance with the Home Front Command's defense policy, all cultural and sports events will be postponed until further notice due to the ban on gatherings.
- No studies or educational activities will take place in any educational, welfare, and youth movement institutions in the city.
- All workplaces will be closed, except for employees defined as essential.
