A 5.0 magnitude earthquake was felt on Thursday in Lima, the capital of Peru. The National Seismological Institute of the country noted that the epicenter was located south of the city at a depth of 53 kilometers.
Residents in the capital reported feeling the tremor, but as of now, no reports of property damage or injuries have been received.
