U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar was attacked during a town hall in Minneapolis when a man lunged at her and sprayed her with a liquid that smelled strongly of vinegar. Omar did not require medical attention.
The suspect sprayed her clothes with a small spray bottle, was blocked by security guards and was arrested on the spot. Omar later left the scene accompanied by her staff.
