Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon said in response to the closure of the UNRWA compound in Jerusalem: "The State of Israel operates according to the law. The meaning is clear. Israel has the authority and jurisdiction in this UNRWA compound, not the UN. There is no place in Israel's capital for terrorist-supporting organizations like UNRWA."
