Saudi Arabia executed 356 people in 2025, the highest number of executions recorded in the kingdom in a single year, according to a French news agency.
Official figures cited by the agency show that 243 of the executions were for drug offenses. This is the second consecutive year that Saudi Arabia has set a new record, after authorities executed 338 people in 2024
