Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara expressed a firm opposition to the bill proposing the establishment of a national commission of inquiry into the October 7th Massacre, arguing that the proposed framework contains fundamental flaws.
According to Baharav-Miara, in its current form, the proposal would not allow for uncovering the truth or drawing genuine lessons, and would prioritize political considerations over the principles of an independent, impartial, and professional investigation.
