A 21-year-old man was killed after stopping on the side of the road due to a technical malfunction and being struck by a vehicle on Highway 2 near the Wingate Interchange.
Magen David Adom paramedics performed resuscitation efforts, but his death was ultimately pronounced. Additional Magen David Adom teams at the scene provided medical treatment and evacuated a 20-year-old woman in moderate condition to Meir Hospital.
