The trial of a European citizen with Iranian citizenship, who was arrested during the 12-Day Iran-Israel war on suspicion of spying for Israel, opened in an Iranian court this morning.
According to the prosecution, the citizen entered Iran about a month before the start of the war and advanced spy and intelligence equipment was found in his apartment in the city of Karaj. The crimes he is accused of carry the death penalty
