US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz, arrived in Jerusalem this morning and began his official visit to Israel, accompanied by Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon.
The visit will begin with a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after which Waltz will meet with President Isaac Herzog and receive security briefings from professional officials.
Waltz is also due to meet with the family of Ran Gvili - the last hostage remaining in Hamas captivity.
