President Isaac Herzog on Sunday night criticized New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, notorious for his anti-Israel views.
Speaking at Yeshiva University, where he received an honorary degree, Herzog said the results of the mayoral election raised a red flag and added, "Here, we see the rise of a new mayor-elect who makes no effort to conceal his contempt for the Jewish democratic state of Israel, the only nation-state of the Jewish people."
