Syrian sources reported at least one Syrian killed and several others wounded following clashes in the town of Beit Jinn at the foot of Mount Hermon. According to the reports, the confrontation began after an IDF force attempted to arrest one of the local residents.
It was further reported that during the incident Israeli forces used artillery fire and aircraft were dispatched to the area, circling above the town.
