PA Chairman Abbas: Deputy Chairman Hussien al-Sheikh to take my place if it 'becomes vacant'

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas issued a constitutional declaration today stating that if the position of PA chairman becomes vacant and the Legislative Council does not convene, Deputy Chairman Hussien al-Sheikh will automatically assume the role.
