The Carmel Police in Haifa conducted an extensive investigation following a series of incidents in which swastikas were spray-painted on buildings and public property throughout the city. The inquiry uncovered more than 30 similar cases across Haifa.
During the investigation, authorities identified a suspect—a 53-year-old Haifa resident—who was arrested for questioning and remains in custody. Police are expected to request an extension of his detention based on the investigation’s findings.
