Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharrah arrives in New York ahead of UN speech

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharrah has arrived in New York ahead of his address to the UN General Assembly.

This is a historic visit, as al-Sharrah is the first Syrian leader to take part in the General Assembly in many years.
