The Ministry of Health has updated that two people were exposed to a rabid mongoose in Kfar Yehezkel in the Gilboa Regional Council and were referred for preventive treatment against rabies.
The Ministry asks anyone who was in contact, or whose animals came into contact in the area of the incident, with the infected animal or a stray animal, between 21.08.2025 and 03.09.2025 inclusive, to urgently contact the Jezreel-Afula Health Bureau.
