US envoy Tom Barrack and his deputy Morgan Ortagus are expected to land in Beirut tonight, where they will meet tomorrow with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.
The delegation will then visit Damascus and meet with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa. During his visit to Israel yesterday, Barrack discussed the issue of curbing Israeli attacks in Lebanon and negotiations with Syria with Prime Minister Netanyahu.
