Two diplomatic sources told Israel Hayom that at the beginning of the week, an Israeli delegation is expected to depart, most likely to Cairo, with the aim of renewing negotiations on a ceasefire toward the end of the war. According to the report, the talks will be based on the Witkoff framework.
It was further reported that the assurances given by the Americans to Israel guarantee that the negotiations will focus on the release of all the hostages and on ending the fighting under the conditions set by Israel, and will not stop at the Witkoff framework alone.
