German Chancellor Friedrich Merz commented on the summit at the White House attended by US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and other European leaders.
According to Merz, in a conversation Trump held with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the two agreed that a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy "will take place within two weeks." Merz added, as Trump also noted, that the location of the meeting has not yet been determined.
