During a soccer match at Teddy Stadium on Monday evening, police arrested a suspect who lit a flare in the stands. According to reports, the arrest sparked a wave of violence from a small group of Beitar Jerusalem fans, who attacked police officers and threw chairs and various objects at them.
As a result of the attack, four police officers were injured. Two additional rioters were arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers, and the three were taken for questioning.
