Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David spoke at the Hostages Square and explained why the Histadrut did not join the strike today: "A strike would have politicalized our struggle."
He added: "We want our sons and dead bodies brought home, the soldiers end this chapter of battle in Gaza - with a victory, but ending it. I call on the Prime Minister - look the public and the families in the eye, end this chapter by bringing the hostages back home. This is your main mission."
