This afternoon an emergency report was received at Magen David Adom's (MDA) 101 hotline about a child who drowned in a pool at a home in the Mateh Binyamin regional council.
MDA paramedics performed resuscitation efforts, and after his pulse returned, he was evacuated in serious condition to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem.
MDA reported that the boy was pulled from the water unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing. Resuscitation attempts included CPR and medication.
