Following the arrest of several yeshiva students classified as IDF deserters, a consultation is taking place this evening (Wednesday) at the home of Rabbi Dov Lando, a leading Lithuanian Haredi.
A statement from his office declared: “The State of Israel has declared war on Torah scholars. The Haredi public will launch an unprecedented struggle.”
