CNN's Stephen Collinson says that President Donald Trump’s attack on Iran’s nuclear sites "is both a stunning demonstration of US military might and unilateral presidential power".
Collinson claims that "other presidents chose not to take this step, in the belief that such action could ignite a full-on war with Iran".
"But the Middle East has changed", he explains, "Israel has dismantled many of the Iranian proxies that it would have used to fight back. By attacking Iran’s known nuclear sites, the president has attempted to fully eradicate Tehran’s nuclear program for good".
