Firefighters are battling a blaze in an open area on the Golan Heights, caused by debris from aerial interceptions.
Northern District Commander, Fire Chief Yair Elkayam, stated: “Since this morning, with the launch of Operation Rising Lion, firefighters in the Northern District have been deployed across the region at high alert and with reinforced forces.
Our firefighting teams are well-trained to operate under emergency conditions and are prepared to respond immediately—in any sector, at any time.”
