Chairman of the Tzohar Rabbis Organization, Rabbi David Stav explained the preparations for the upcoming Sabbath in light of the Home Front Command's instructions."The people of Israel are in a state of emergency; we pray for and support IDF soldiers and the nation's leaders in the fight to remove the existential threat from the State of Israel."

"This state of emergency requires all of us to fully comply with the Home Front Command's guidelines. If the instructions on limiting gatherings remains in effect - this also applies to prayers in synagogues. Praying in a minyan is an enhancement; saving a life overrides the Sabbath. One should keep the radio on in silent mode to stay updated if necessary. One should not turn on the television, radio, or browse the internet for personal interest," said Rabbi Stav.
