Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a video update that Israel is "doing everything to defeat Hamas and free our hostages at the same time."
He added: "The release of our hostages is at the top of our priorities. I really hope that we will be able to announce something regarding the hostages, if not today, then tomorrow."
