A reservist in the 9221st Battalion of the Ephraim Brigade was severely injured by an explosive during operational activity in the area of Beita in the Samaria Regional Brigade on Wednesday.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit said that the soldier was evacuated to a hospital to receive medical treatment, and his family has been notified.
IDF soldiers encircled the area of Beita and are operating in the area to locate the terrorists.
