Intel is expected to announce a plan this week to cut more than 20% of its workforce, as reported by US news agency Bloomberg.
The move is part of an effort to simplify the management structure and rebuild a culture around engineering roles. This is the first significant restructuring under new CEO Lip-Bu Tan, who took office last month. It is still unclear how the move will affect more than 10,000 Intel employees in Israel.
